Booking your session is easy. Start by filling out the booking form on my Contact page. Share a little about your family and your ideal session date—I’d love to hear from you!

Once we’ve chosen a date, I’ll set you up in my client portal. Here, you’ll find everything you need: your questionnaire, invoice, and contract. Your date is secured as soon as the $100 retainer is paid and the contract is signed.

The questionnaire helps me get to know you better, so feel free to share as much as you’d like. The more I learn about your family, the more we can create a session that truly feels like you.

Choosing the right location is all about what feels meaningful to your family and the story you want to tell.

In-Home Sessions
Your home is where so many memories are made. It’s filled with love, laughter, and the little details that make your family unique. In-home sessions are a beautiful way to capture your everyday life—the beautiful chaos, quiet moments, and everything in between.

Outdoor Sessions
If you’re drawn to the magic of golden light and open spaces, an outdoor session might be perfect for you. Sunset is the ideal time for these sessions, offering soft, golden light that’s truly magical. Whether it’s a sandy beach, lush hinterland, or a favorite local spot, we’ll find a location that reflects your family’s spirit.

We’ll meet at the chosen location or walk there together, taking in the surroundings and finding the perfect spots to capture your family’s story. Throughout the session, I’ll gently guide you with cues and prompts to help you feel comfortable and natural in front of the camera.

While I provide a blend of posed and prompted direction, I encourage you to move, play, and connect freely within those moments. The real magic lies in the in-between—the laughter, the quiet glances, and the way you naturally interact as a family.

Once I’ve captured a full collection of images, I’ll let you know, and we’ll wrap up. My aim is for your session to feel relaxed, enjoyable, and uniquely yours—a time to celebrate the connections that make your family special.

While I’m not one for stiff poses, I will guide you into the best light and offer gentle direction and prompts, so you never feel unsure or out of place. It’s all about keeping things natural and comfortable while creating space for those in-between moments—the ones that truly capture your family’s connection.

As the session winds down, when the kids are a little more tired, I like to slow things down and bring everyone together. These quiet, snuggly moments are where the magic happens, creating heartfelt images that you’ll treasure forever.

Your session includes all members of your immediate family. If you’d like to include extended family, I can happily accommodate —just let me know.

Wear what makes you feel like you. Something comfortable, timeless, and easy to move in. Whether it’s a favorite piece you love or something new you’ve been eyeing, it should feel natural and true to your style.

Avoid overly matching outfits and lean toward soft, complementary tones. Neutrals and earthy shades always work beautifully, keeping the focus on your family and your connection.

Your curated online gallery, showcasing the best images from your session, will be ready to view 2–3 weeks after we shoot. From there, you can select and download your favorite images to keep and treasure.

I live in Murwillumbah, Northern NSW, nestled between the Gold Coast and Byron Bay. Your session fee includes travel within 60 minutes of my home. If you’re a little further away, I’m happy to explore new places—just let me know, and we can discuss travel arrangements.

As a mum of three, I completely understand that life happens—whether it’s an unexpected illness or a change in the weather. If you need to reschedule, I’m happy to accommodate. Please let me know as soon as possible, ideally the day before, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

There are no additional fees for rescheduling due to illness or poor weather. However, cancellations that are not rescheduled may forfeit the retainer, as it secures your booking and session date. If you have any concerns or special circumstances, feel free to reach out—I’m always happy to work with you.

Your online gallery will remain active for three months after it’s delivered. During this time, you can download and save your images to a hard drive or cloud storage for safekeeping.

If your gallery expires and you need it reinstated, there is a $50 fee to make the images available again. To ensure your memories are preserved, I recommend downloading your images as soon as possible and backing them up securely. If you’d like to order additional products or prints later, just let me know—I’m here to help!
